What Is the Educational Path to a Career in Communication Disorders?

Prerequisites for the program may include phonetics, neurology, phonology, articulation, anatomy and physiology and audiology. Some schools may require you to take clinical labs on-campus or at an affiliated center. These prerequisites may be obtained through completing your bachelor's degree in communications science.

To take an online course, you need a reliable computer and Internet access. Many schools will list computer requirements for the most efficient access to classes. You must have a valid email address and the ability to navigate your computers operating system. You must have the ability to download and organize files.
