In 2015-16, Georgetown University tied for 21st place on U.S. News & World Report's list of national universities. It's home to a Master of Professional Studies in Technology Management program designed for IT managers and business professionals who want to develop their leadership skills. In addition to a general program track, you can pursue concentrations in health information technology, systems design and management, information security and project management. Core courses address systems and financial analysis. Its Executive Master of Science in Technology Management program can be completed in 16 months and is designed for IT professionals with at least ten years of experience. Instruction is delivered online, though you must also attend five in-person residencies. There are two residency tracks available, so you can choose between attending sessions at Columbia's New York City campus or at the Columbia Global Center in Paris. To complete program requirements, you must also undertake a master's project where you'll design and plan for the development of a new technology.
