Educational Admission Requirements
Many junior colleges require that applicants hold a high school diploma or equivalent. Some will even ask for copies of official high school transcripts. While some community colleges may have the same requirement, many have an open-admissions policy. This means that applicants need only to satisfy the age requirement and submit all necessary paperwork.
Testing Admission Requirements
Scores from college admissions tests such as the SAT or ACT are generally required at most junior colleges and community colleges.
