The art department at Bellarmine University offers students access to Mac labs to work on their digital art portfolios, a darkroom and a large exhibition space. Students are given 24-hour access to art facilities. You can choose to focus on one of the 4 main areas of concentration or you can combine several. Most of the art concentration areas require 51 credit hours to earn the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree; the photography and digital art emphasis, however, ranges from 45-51 hours. Indiana University - Southeast (IUS) is located in a rural area just a few miles from Louisville, Kentucky. IUS has a B.A. in Fine Arts program as well as a BFA program. The Master of Art in Art (Creative) and Art History with a concentration in studio art requires you to take a sequence of 15 credit hours of a core curriculum followed by 15 hours of courses in your area of concentration. The first year of the program is spent on the core curriculum, the second on your area of specialization. You must also complete a thesis project and pass an oral exam to earn your degree.
