Virginia College is a chain of private, nationally accredited schools that offers undergraduate education programs in in-demand career areas. It has more than 25 campuses located throughout Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, Texas, Tennessee, Louisiana, Virginia, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and North Carolina. All campuses are accredited by Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). Virginia College also offers many of its programs online. Online students have the flexibility of completing their degree on their own schedule from any place with an Internet connection. If you live near one of Virginia College’s campuses, you can choose between enrolling in day or evening classes on site, take online courses, or take a combination of online and in-person courses.
Virginia College offers programs in areas with high-projected job growth in industries like healthcare, business, information technology, culinary arts, cosmetology, and select trades. Each program is designed to prepare you to directly enter the job market, and the curricula include a combination of general education and program-specific courses. The school offers around 50 different programs, though not all campuses offer all programs. You can choose from programs in business administration, paralegal studies, culinary arts, medical assisting, and pharmacy technology. Programs are also available in fields like network management, cosmetology, welding, HVAC technology, accounting, and office management.
All courses are taught by instructors with real-world experience in the area that they teach, which allows you to learn obtain industry insights and gain a practical knowledge of jobs in this field. Classes are kept small to achieve an ideal learning environment.
