Full Sail University's Bachelor of Science in Computer Animation program is offered both online and on campus. The program offers coursework in 3D modeling, character animation and rigging, storyboarding, animation production, and visual effects. Through the many projects completed during the program and with guidance from your instructors, you will also have the opportunity to generate your own portfolio.
In order to apply to the Bachelor of Science in Computer Animation program at Full Sail University you should have artistic capabilities and experience in sketching, sculpting, and painting. Traditional art classes are recommended but not required. You should have earned a high school diploma, be a permanent resident or U.S. citizen, and be at least 18 years old.
The Bachelor of Science in Computer Animation program is offered on campus and online; there are some variations in the curriculum, as the online program consists of 123 credits and the campus-based program consists of 140 credits. Online students may need special software or hardware to complete assigned projects. Both programs require 32 credits of general education coursework in addition to core courses.
