The Auto Repair Technician Career Diploma program at Penn Foster Career School is designed to give you the chance to learn the basics of car maintenance and repair. You have the opportunity to learn about electrical systems, computerized engine controls, fuel systems, exhaust, braking systems, and more. Instruction also covers engine types, lubrication systems, ignition controls, and suspensions. This course can be completed entirely at home and at your own pace. All of the materials, tools, textbooks, and learning aids you need to complete the course are included. This program includes preparation for the ASE certification exam.

What are the Prerequisites?

You may benefit from experience using various tools or an interest in cars. Applicants to Penn Foster Career School's programs should be at least 18 years old.

What are the Course Requirements?
