What Teaching Associate's Degree Programs Are Available?

The most common associate's degree program in teaching is in early childhood education, but other educational programs are also available. These degree programs provide the training necessary to become a teacher's aide. After earning an early childhood education associate degree, you might also be able to work as a tutor or a preschool teacher. Associate's degree programs often take two years to complete. While you only need a high school diploma, previous experience working with kids could also be advantageous.

Through an early childhood education associate degree program, you may study childhood development, which includes children's literacy, language and cognitive development.
