What Is an Online Bachelor's Degree Program in Entrepreneurship?

Entrepreneurship is typically often offered as an area of emphasis in Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree programs. This is a 4-year course of study that commonly qualifies you for entry-level business careers. In addition to earning this degree on a traditional college campus, you can also earn it entirely online. If you choose to pursue a distance-learning program, you can expect to find the same resources provided to on-campus students, such as access to online library databases. You'll also need a computer that meets minimum technical requirements and has access to the Internet.

What Are the Educational Requirements?

To be considered for admission into bachelor's degree programs in entrepreneurship, you must have at least a high school diploma, although some admissions committees will accept a GED instead. You may also need to provide transcripts from your high school and any postsecondary institutions you've attended. Some schools enforce educational requirements as well; you may need to have earned a minimum GPA, for example. Because many of the classes in this program involve communication, interpersonal relations, accounting or economics, taking classes in English, public speaking or math while still in high school could be beneficial preparation.
