What Can I Learn with an Online Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising?

A handful of colleges allow you to earn a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising or a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Merchandising through a distance education program. Once you earn your bachelor's degree, you may be able to find work in the retail industry. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported that employment in retail sales will increase by 2% from 2016-2026 (www.bls.gov). In May 2018, general and operations managers in clothing stores made a median salary of $67,390, while clothing store marketing managers earned a median salary of $126,880. Additionally, a retail salesperson earned a median annual wage of $23,215, and demonstrators and product promoters had a median wage of $22,090 stated the BLS.
