The North Seattle College nursing assistant program consists of 96 classroom hours and 104 lab and clinical hours. Clinical hours are spent at one of three local medical facilities. Courses cover infection control, HIV/AIDs, anatomy and physiology, personal care, state regulations, and common health issues. You'll also learn CPR and first aid for healthcare providers. Upon graduating, you can sit for the Washington state nursing assistant certification exam.
