A midsized, urban campus located near the border of Missouri, Kansas City Kansas Community College (KCKCC) offers an EMT training program consisting of 2 courses that total 12 credits that develop the knowledge and skills in emergency medical services (EMS) required to administer basic life support care to ill and injured individuals in emergency medical situations. You must complete at least 10 hours of clinical experience. Graduates will be prepared to take the NREMT EMT-Basic examination. Students who have some health care experience or have completed anatomy or physiology might be eligible for an accelerated 10-credit option for KCKCC's EMT program.
