The American Culinary Federation, Inc. (ACF) is a professional organization for chefs and cooks. The Education Foundation Accrediting Commission of the ACF is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. On its website, the ACF maintains a list of accredited schools offering certificates, diplomas and degrees dealing with culinary arts.
Can I Find Online Training?
Online French cooking lessons are rare. You may be able to learn about French cooking online through private, for-profit organizations, schools that aren't accredited or websites not affiliated with a school. Often these programs are delivered as tutorials or videos. Some information is also available by way of online French cooking magazines or recipe books. These are all generally intended as personal-development courses and don't carry any academic credits.
