Scientific American, a popular science magazine, produces different podcasts for your listening pleasure. Science Talk is an audio program that provides in-depth coverage of important scientific discoveries; host Steve Mirsky often invites preeminent scientists onto the show to discuss specific disciplines within science. 60-Second Science provides briefer coverage, adding information to topics in health, mind, sustainability, tech, and the sciences.
NPR's Science Friday
Science Friday is a weekly show that can be heard on National Public Radio (NPR) stations throughout the country. If you ever miss an episode, though, it's nice to know that you can catch up by listening to a podcast of the program. Host Ira Flatow, a renowned science journalist, interviews scientists, authors and others on topics ranging from antimatter to airport scanners and neuroscience to cyber security. A unique element of the show is that members of the public can call in to have their science questions answered.
This Week in Science
Do you like your science news served up with a dose of irreverent humor? Look no further than This Week in Science, a show that purports to make science fun. Dr. Kirsten Sanford and sidekicks Justin and Blair discuss cutting-edge news on space exploration, artificial intelligence, microbial behavior and other scientific subjects. A fun regular feature of the program is Countdown to World Robot Domination. Don't let the whimsy, though, dissuade you from taking the show seriously - Dr. Sanford is a research scientist at the University of California, Davis.

The London Guardian has a science team that hosts this weekly podcast centered around science and technology. This long-running podcast has most recently discussed human studies, supersonic passenger flight, and 'fake' foods.
StarTalk Radio
StarTalk Radio is a weekly radio show hosted by the now-famous astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson. As of March 2016, the show is in its seventh season.
