An associate's degree program in hospitality and travel teaches you about the standard business practices of the tourism industry. After completing this program, you'll have developed marketing, communication, sales and public relations skills pertinent to the tourism industry. You'll gain an understanding of consumer travel tendencies, the dynamics of group travel and customer needs.
