A Master of Business Administration qualifies you for upper-level management and executive positions, and you could choose to focus your MBA studies in marketing. MBA programs typically take 2-3 years to complete and can sometimes be found online. Online programs may require you to occasionally attend lectures, classes or panels on campus; otherwise, you will complete most of the work for these programs on the Internet. You may also be required to complete a professional component before graduating, such as an internship, externship or practicum.

How Can I Prepare?
If you want to apply to MBA programs in marketing, you need at least a bachelor's degree, and many programs prefer applicants who hold bachelor's degrees in related fields, such as business administration, economics, accounting or finance. You may also have to submit standardized test scores and college transcripts; additionally, some programs may ask that you have relevant work experience. Taking business communication, leadership, economics and public speaking courses could be beneficial.
