Cerritos College's medical assistant certificate program trains you for future employment in both an administrative and clinical capacity. You learn a range of fundamental skills, such as ICD-9 coding, medical terminology, medical billing operations and phlebotomy procedures. In addition to traditional coursework, you'll enhance your training experience through an internship or occupational work experience.
