What Is a Sports Science Degree Program?

Sports science is a field that examines the different techniques used to improve athletic and sporting performance. In a sports science degree program, you'll learn how to apply these different techniques to real-life situations to improve the athletic performance of individuals or teams. Sports science is a broad field of study, and you'll be able to specialize in one of many areas.
