Technology-Based Scholarships: Is One Right For You?

The most effective way to hunt for college scholarships is to seek out the ones that are tailored to your talents. Like computers? Read on to discover some great scholarships for tech-savvy students.

Finding the Right Match

College application season is drawing to a close, and by now you're probably thinking about the next big question: How are you going to finance your education?

Institutional grants and low-interest federal loans are two of the most common forms of funding, but they typically don't cover all of your tuition, fees and expenses. Before you jump straight to private loans, consider applying for scholarships.

Of course, the scholarship hunt can be daunting. There are thousands of large and small scholarship funds out there for just about any demographic or interest. While it may seem like a good idea to cast a wide net, you'll find it's more effective to focus on the scholarships that apply especially to you.
