Databases and operating systems may also be covered.

Courses that teach you about website design tools cover programs like FrontPage and Dreamweaver. You can learn about CSS and dynamic HTML. These tools help you create page layouts, tables, hyperlinks and forms. Courses in a Web design associate's degree program may also address user interface issues. These courses discuss aesthetics, typography and usability.

You may learn about taking digital pictures to use on websites.
