The highest average salary was earned by transportation, storage and distribution managers in the aerospace product and parts manufacturing industry. These workers had an average salary of $143,810 in 2018. The BLS projects that jobs for transportation, storage and distribution managers will increase at an average rate of 7% from 2016 to 2026. The truck transportation industry had the highest level of employment for these workers in 2018.
