Online courses in fashion design aren't common, but a couple of schools do offer them. You can find classes at the Fashion Institute of Technology and the Academy of Art University. Both have programs at various degree levels that are conferred in fashion business management, international trade and marketing, fashion, fashion journalism, and fashion merchandising. AAU undergraduate applicants must have a high school diploma or it's equivalent and sample work if necessary. Those who haven't finished the associate's program must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with an approved major and transferable credits.
