You also take practical nursing courses in adult health, mental health and maternal/child health, which include clinicals in a healthcare facility.

You take courses in anatomy, physiology, practical nursing fundamentals, adult health, psychology, mental health, role transition and pediatric health. You will learn in a simulation lab, as well as having a multi-media computer lab at your disposal. As an LPN, you work within the healthcare team, including registered nurses (RNs), in hospitals, assisted living settings and long-term care facilities.
