Offered through the School of International and Public Affairs, the MPA degree program is broken down into four components: the core curriculum, an area of specialization, policy concentrations and capstone workshops. The core curriculum includes a variety of courses in economic analysis, accounting and policy making. You can also focus on a specific area of public policy, such as the environment, human rights, political development, economic policy, social policy or international security. Additionally, you can choose an area of specialization, such as management, international media or geographic regions.

Additionally, if you have less than two years of relevant work experience, you will be expected to complete an internship prior to graduation.
