These programs are typically designed for working professionals wanting to further develop their leadership skills working in diverse global businesses and the curriculum usually consists of core courses, electives, and/or a capstone experience.
Courses in strategy may examine the foundational concepts in the subject and/or provide a global perspective on making strategic decisions. Admission Requirements for Global Executive MBA Programs
Applicants to global executive MBA programs typically need to have at least a bachelor's degree and some programs may require students to meet a minimum amount of professional work experience, such as at least 3 years of work experience. Some of these programs may also require applicants to take the GRE, GMAT, or an institution-specific exam to indicate readiness for the program, but students may be able to waive these exams if they meet other criteria, such as having a minimum of 10 years of work experience or holding an advanced degree. Application materials for these degree programs vary by school, but commonly include transcripts, letters of recommendation, and a resume with prior work experience. Some programs may also require written responses to questions and/or essays discussing goals, skills, past experiences, and more.
