University of Michigan - Ann Arbor

At the University of Michigan, students in the Master of Accounting program can take courses from the university's prestigious MBA program. Eastern Michigan University

Admissions Requirements for a Master's Degree in Accounting in Michigan

Some Master of Science in Accounting programs are designed for students who already have a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, while other programs accept students with bachelor's degrees from a wide variety of backgrounds. Students who have not completed undergraduate coursework in accounting may have to complete a sequence of foundation courses. Most programs require students to send in GRE or GMAT test scores, although this requirement may be waived for students with previous professional experience in accounting and/or a high GPA. Applicants must send in a nonrefundable application fee, a current resume, letters of recommendation from previous professors, official transcripts, and a personal statement.
