This program has similar learning objective and coursework to that of a master's degree program, and this degree provides students with professional training to prepare them for their careers after graduation.

Texas State University

Texas State University also offers a Specialist in School Psychology program for students, and this program takes 69 course hours to complete. Upon completion, students are able to apply for the Nationally Certified School Psychologist credential and start working with students.

Trinity University
