The 36-credit-hour MBA program at Appalachian State is an off-campus hybrid program consisting of online courses and a candidacy requirement, which involves the completion of an international awareness component (such as taking an international course or practicum) as well as relevant work experience (whether internship or paid) prior to graduation. The program should take two years to complete.
East Carolina University
The online MBA program at East Carolina University consists of 18 courses, but students with previous business-related coursework can waive up to seven of the foundational course requirements. Students complete a minimum of 33 credit hours and customize their learning with three electives in the area(s) of their choosing. Students may also choose to pursue one of 13 certificates by completing one or two additional classes.
Fayetteville State University
Fayetteville State University has a 36-credit-hour MBA that can be completed online in 12 to 72 months, depending on how many classes students take each semester. Students can concentrate their MBA in general business, entrepreneurship, business intelligence & data analytics, finance, healthcare management, marketing, international business, management, or project management. Students can also pursue additional coursework to earn a certificate in healthcare management, business, cyber security management, or project management.
Gardner-Webb University offers an MBA program that can be completed in 10 months through a completely online class delivery method. Students take 10 courses (30 credit hours) in subjects such as accounting and management. Gardner-Webb also offers MBA dual degrees in divinity and nursing.
The MBA programs at Lenoir-Rhyne University consist of 36 credit hours and can be completed entirely online. The standard MBA offers concentration options of accounting, entrepreneurship, global business, healthcare administration, business analytics & information technology, innovation & change management, and leadership development. Students can also pursue a Master of Business Administration in Non-Profit Management or a Master of Business Administration in Social Entrepreneurship.
Montreat College offers a 30-credit online Master of Business Administration program that can be completed in as few as 20 months. Students can take one class per week and choose an MBA concentration in innovation and entrepreneurship or cybersecurity management. A general MBA is also offered.
North Carolina A&T State University
The Master of Business Administration program at North Carolina A&T State University gives students an understanding of essential business topics, including marketing, economics, and management. Students can complete the 36-credit-hour program entirely online and select a concentration in general management, accounting, supply chain management, or human resource management.
North Carolina State University at Raleigh
North Carolina State University at Raleigh offers a professional online MBA program that enables students to earn a Master of Business Administration in as few as 21 months or as many as six years. The program is for students with two years of work experience and requires two separate three-day residencies at the Raleigh campus (waived for active duty military). Students can also take three elective courses based on their interests.
The MBA program at Pfeiffer University consists of 36 credit hours and allows students to choose a concentration in human resources management, international studies, or leadership. Students may also earn a dual MBA/Master of Health Administration or a dual MBA/Master of Science in Leadership in 30-36 months.
