Those enrolled in this online program will need to complete a total of 39 credits prior to graduation. The school also offers a 49-credit family nurse practitioner MSN program via distance education.

Baylor University

Baylor University offers an online Master of Science in Nursing degree program with a leadership and innovation track. Students need to take a total of 36 credits to graduate, and this can be done in as little as 16 months.

Texas A&M University

Students attending Texas A&M University can earn an online Master of Science in Nursing degree with a specialization in nursing education or forensic nursing. There's also a hybrid family nurse practitioner program.

Texas Christian University
