If the program has been approved, there are no other requirements. Students fill out a form and answer questions pertaining to their reasons for this career choice and plans after graduating. The deadline for the $500 scholarship is December 30, 2020.

Communication Sciences and Disorders Scholarships

Multiple scholarships from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation are open to graduate students who are currently enrolled full-time, or will be enrolled by the academic year listed, in a program that focuses on communication disorders. Transcripts will be reviewed, and students must submit three letters of recommendation. Applicants fill out an online form, complete an application letter, send a copy of the college acceptance letter, and compose an essay answering the question of the year. If a student has previously received a scholarship from the Foundation, then they are not eligible. This scholarship will open again in 2020 and is for $5000 each.
