The BLS predicted that employment of sales managers will increase 8% between 2012 and 2022.

PayScale.com reported in March 2014 that marketing representatives who earned total pay (including salary, bonuses, commission and profit sharing) within the 10th-90th percentile range took home $24,626-$66,216, with a median salary of $40,783.

Marketing managers earned a median salary of $119,480 as of 2012, the BLS said. Retail sales professionals earned a median wage of $21,110 as of 2012, according to the BLS, and parts sales professionals made a median wage of $29,550. Sales managers earned a median wage of $105,260 as of 2012, the BLS reported.
