What Is an Associate's Degree in Business Marketing Program?

An associate's degree program in business marketing is a 2-year program focusing on the techniques used to sell a business' products or items. Common degrees offered include an Associate of Applied Science in Business and Marketing, Associate of Applied Science in Business with a concentration in marketing or an Associate of Applied Science in Marketing. Although these programs have different names, they contain many of the same classes. Admission to them usually requires a high school diploma or the equivalent.

Coursework in an associate's degree business marketing program combines training in marketing practices and basic management skills.
