What Kinds of Creative Writing Graduate Programs Are Available?

You could earn a Master of Arts (M.A.) in English with a specialization in creative writing or a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing. Some schools offer a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Literature and Creative Writing. Students in an M.A. or MFA program may be able to specialize in fiction, poetry or non-fiction.
