Statistical Thinking and Data Analysis

What Will I Learn?

This course will cover subjects such as data summarization, sampling distributions, and statistical inference. Other areas of study include hypothesis testing, regression, and nonparametric inference.

What Assignments Will I Complete?

The online course includes three computer homework assignments. These are MATLAB tutorials, in the form of PDF files, with solutions provided. Additional assignments are problems from the course textbook.

What Materials Are Provided?

In addition to the assignments, the course also makes exams available. There are four exams, three of which will have solutions. Lecture notes comprise 14 lectures, on topics such as a review of probability, basic concepts of inference, and similar linear regression.
