Montclair State University

You earn a bachelor's degree, a Master of Art in Teaching and two teacher certifications: special education and general education by completing this degree program. There are several prerequisites that must be satisfied. If you're obtaining certification in a subject area program, you'll need to satisfy social science, philosophy/religion, general education and elective requirements. Early childhood or elementary programs require social science, communication and general education electives courses, as well as taking a course in child development.
