The American Society of Transportation and Logistics (ASTL) offers certification for transportation and logistics professionals ( To qualify for the Certified Transportation and Logistics (CTL) designation, you must have either an undergraduate degree or three years experience in the transportation field. To earn the CTL, you must complete six exams given by the ASTL. Three exams are mandatory, while an additional three can be selected from a list.
