Metropolitan Community College's veterinary technology program is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association. The program is located on the Maple Woods campus, one of the community college's five campuses in Kansas City. The curriculum includes practical experience working with 12 different animal species as you learn the ins and outs of diagnostics, running labs, administering anesthesia and assisting during surgery.
