Promoting Products and Services
Your primary responsibility will be promoting your company's products or services. As a director, you'll come up with a long-term promotional strategy that develops your company's brand and increases its sales and customer base. You'll evaluate the company's promotional strategy to make sure it continues to be cost-effective and meet the company's objectives. You may supervise a team of people who find potential customers for your company's services and then work to sell products to those customers.

You may have to prepare strategies that will promote products across a variety of media, including radio and television commercials, magazine advertisements, brochures, catalogs, and digital media.
