Law Enforcement

The U.S. Secret Service is the branch of law enforcement that protects the president and vice-president and their families. They also provide protection for heads of state and presidential and vice-presidential candidates. In addition, this federal agency conducts criminal investigations in such areas as fraud and counterfeiting.
