ACC has eight campus locations and offers programs in culinary arts at its Eastview campus in Austin. You can select from three certificate programs to prepare for job opportunities in the culinary industry. In the culinarian program, you will receive basic training in areas such as food and meat preparation, production and cooking, safety and sanitation and American regional cuisine. This certificate program can be completed with 22 credit hours in two semesters.

The culinary arts program consists of 37 credits and can be completed in three semesters on a full-time schedule. Your training in this program will also include basic food handling and preparation courses, as well as training in nutrition and the hospitality industry. In the pastry arts program, you can learn techniques in baking items, such as breads, rolls, pies, tarts and cookies. You will also receive training in baking operations and management.
