Individuals interested in athletic training and similar fields like sport management can complete their master's degree while working as a graduate assistant. The graduate programs at ten schools, including stipends, will be covered for students considering this educational route. West Virginia University

West Virginia University offers a two-year master's degree in athletic training that focuses on rehabilitation, training students on the Graston Technique M-1 and preparing them for certification as a NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist. The university offers 11 graduate assistantships for students accepted into the master's program, with placements at West Virginia and Pennsylvania colleges and high schools.

University of Florida

Students who are either board certified athletic trainers or certification eligible can complete their Master of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology with a concentration in Athletic Training at the University of Florida.
