Some of the other topics that may be covered include classification of clinical trials, design of clinical trials, data safety monitoring, statistical analysis planning, and adaptive design methods. Students wishing to take this course will need to have previously taken biostatistics.
The main objective of a biology course is to teach students about different scientific investigation methods and how to understand the basic structures of cells. A few of the topics that may be covered in this course are reproduction of cells, history of genetics, and multicellular organisms. Typically this class is taught with both a lecture and a laboratory portion.
