Admittance Requirements

Aspirants of a communication master's degree must hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited school with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher. Though GRE scores are not mandatory in most of the schools, some schools may require students with less than 3.0 GPA in undergraduate studies to submit GRE scores. A few schools may expect a writing sample showing communication and writing abilities, a personal statement of purpose illustrating reasons for pursuing this master's program and academic and professional achievements. Additionally, students may need to submit all official transcripts of previously attended schools, two to three letters of recommendation, and a resume along with the online application form. Any students holding a bachelor's degree from outside of the United States may need to submit TOEFL or IELTS scores.
