The final requirement to get the certification as a Reading Specialist in Oklahoma is to get a background check. The first step in this process is to get your fingerprints scanned. You can take your fingerprints digitally at the Oklahoma State Department of Education or the satellite centers located across the state. As an alternative, you can also submit fingerprint cards.
