The 36-credit-hour Master of Science in Sport Management program at Barry University prepares students through practice and curriculum for careers such as facility manager, school athletics director, and fitness center administrator. Barry University also offers a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) dual-degree option that consists of 57 credit hours and provides students with an in-depth overview of business and sport industry topics.

Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University

Students can begin the Master of Science in Sport Management program at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in the fall, summer, or spring semester and finish within two years. The program consists of 30 credit hours of coursework, including classes in administration, regulations, and economics, along with 6 credit hours of either a thesis or an internship (400 hours required).

Florida State University

Florida State University has a Master of Science in Sport Management program, as well as a dual-degree program leading to an M.S. in Sport Management and a Juris Doctor (J.D.), and a Ph.D. in Sport Management. Students in the M.S. program can complete a thesis track (34 credit hours) to develop a deeper understanding of a specific topic through research, or a non-thesis track (36) to further develop their skills through in an internship within their program.

Jacksonville University

Students can earn a Master of Science in Sport Management completely online through Jacksonville University's 36-credit-hour M.S. program. Students may also choose to earn both an M.S. in Sport Management and a Master of Business Administration through the dual-degree program to develop knowledge applicable to the sports industry as well as business administration as a whole (54 credit hours).

University of Central Florida

The Master of Sport Business Management (M.S.B.M.) program at the University of Central Florida emphasizes social, ethical, and diversity issues in sports as well as provides an in-depth overview of business and leadership in the sport industry. The program consists of 45 credit hours, including a 15-week internship, exploring topics such as accounting, economics, sport marketing, and sport analytics.

University of Florida

The University of Florida has a Master of Science in Sport Management program that can be completed on-campus or online and includes courses in sport marketing, finance, law, and sociology. Students complete 36 credit hours on the non-thesis track or 30-credit hours (thesis), and may also choose to pursue a dual degree in law (J.D.).

University of Miami

The University of Miami has a Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.) in Sport Administration program that can be completed on-campus or online in 12 or 18 months. The program consists of 30 credit hours, with courses in fiscal management, sport law, and sport sponsorship, and provides graduates with 12-month internship opportunities following the completion of their program.

University of South Florida - Main Campus

Students can earn a Master of Science in Sport and Entertainment Management at the University of South Florida's main campus location by completing 30 credit hours of coursework and 6 credit hours from an internship or thesis (36 credit hours total). Students can also pursue a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in sport business (49 credit hours) or a simultaneous M.B.A./M.S. in Sport and Entertainment Management (68 credit hours).

Webber International University

Webber International University has a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in sport business management that prepares students for leadership roles in the sports industry by combining expertise from current professionals with classroom methods. Students complete 36 credit hours of coursework through evening classes and explore topics such as legal aspects of sport business, quantitative research, strategic management in sports, and strategic thinking.
