About Platt College

Have a love for food preparation? Like to work with your hands? Or maybe helping people or designing information security systems is more up your alley. As a student of Platt College in Oklahoma, you can pursue any one of these types of careers with vocational diploma or associate's degree training programs. Accreditation from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) and the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP; for the surgical technologist program only) helps to ensure a quality education.

With four campuses in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Moore, and Lawton, you can select a convenient location and begin your studies in a flexible program. Or, you might choose the online cybersecurity or health information technology program, both presented entirely online so you can easily fit studies into any schedule. You'll learn from instructors who possess industry experience and in lab and simulated settings designed to replicate actual professional environments where you'll work. Some healthcare programs, such as those in dental assisting, surgical technologist, medical assisting, respiratory care, and practical nursing, include clinical rotations and externships in hospitals, surgery centers, and other medical environments. Programs in ACHR, welding, and culinary and pastry arts expose you to the required tools, machines, and utensils you'll use in your career.

'' Since graduating from school, people no longer view me as being just a good home cook. They see me as being a professional.''

- Patti W., Platt Graduate

''I had great one-on-one time with my instructors. I even branched out and went into the culinary department, rather than stay strictly with pastry, and got an education from culinary instructors that I never even thought I could have gotten. They became a part of my family.''

- Chelsea F., Platt Graduate
