You'll have the chance to learn about culinary arts fundamentals and will take fundamental, intermediate, and advanced classes in pastry arts. This program is designed to teach you about standards of personal and industry sanitation and safety, using the appropriate equipment, ethical behavior, proper techniques, nutrition principles, and cuisine origins. You'll also have the opportunity to get hands-on experience through an externship, which is conducted under the direction of a certified chef.
