Dental Laboratory Technology Degree Programs
Dental laboratory technicians are able to complete either an Associate of Applied Science degree or a professional certificate program in Dental Laboratory Technology. Some professionals choose to earn a bachelor's degree to further their career opportunities and earning potential. All degree programs must be accredited by the American Dental Association. In the degree program, students will study crown and bridge work, orthodontics, occlusion, dental lab practices, dental anatomy and physiology, dentures and ceramics and molding techniques. Graduates will typically earn around $30,000 a year working in fabrication laboratories, research labs or dental offices.
