Most schools for vocational nurses require a high school diploma. Many nursing programs also require a background check. In addition, you may be required to carry insurance and receive immunizations before becoming eligible for a program. What Would I Be Responsible For?
As an LVN, you could interact directly with patients and check blood sugar, blood pressure and temperature. You might also observe and report patient symptoms and answer patient questions. You may have other responsibilities depending on the state where you work.
