As of May 2013, computer systems and market research analysts earned corresponding median annual salaries of $81,190 and $60,800. A fast-as-average growth in jobs is expected for wholesale and manufacturing representatives, who earned a median annual salary of $54,410 in May 2013. In the same month, the median annual salary for a database administrator was $78,520; employment for database administrators is projected to grow by 15%, or faster than average, through 2022 (www.bls.gov).
